Once an institution decides that it wants to engage a consultant, it may need to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) as a part of the process. Some institutions which have already gone through this process have provided samples of such documents, drawn from actual RFPs, which may be used as "starter-kits" for others in developing their own. In most cases, the samples have been "sanitized" by removing all references to the originating institution and the vendors to which it may have been sent. These samples are provided as a list of attachments suitable for downloading.
